Bookstagrams You Need to See

I joined the Bookstagram community back in October of last year, before that I didn’t even know it existed! And now? I don’t go a day without posting and scrolling through my feed, it has become one of my favourite social media hang outs in the book community. So today I want to share with you ten people I follow on Bookstagram that I think you have to see to appreciate!

Jennifer Santucci @jennifer_f_santucci; if you like planning as well as reading, and washi tape, then she is your girl! Seriously she has the most amazing washi tape collection, she takes pretty photos and shares her daily reading and writing experiences. I don’t just enjoy her photos but I get to know her a little more every day.

I meant to share this before I went on vacation and then forgot! It was for the planner indulgences prompt. I've transitioned from a preprinted paper planner to a Leuchtturm 1917 notebook for bullet journaling. It's a bit pricey but I love the creamy paper and the numbered pages. My Pilot Metropolitan Retro fountain pen is another indulgence. I didn't know writing could be such a delightful experience before fountain pens. I already enjoyed writing, but there's nothing like writing with a well crafted fountain pen. The last indulgence is washi tape. It's more of an obsession. If you've been following me for a while, then you know my love for washi borders on insanity. My washi love is left over from my paper planner days. I've given up all the planner trappings–stickers and page clips, but washi tape is something I can't give up! These are indulgences my writer self loves!

Taryn Knight @taryndraws, is a book blogger and also an incredible illustrator. Her Harry Potter creations are a must see!

Taylor @taylorreads, is a girl you should start following like, yesterday. This girls has a HUGE book collection, amazing purple hair and takes fantastic photos of her books. She also has a youtube channel and is simply the sweetest.

Alexis Lampley @dropandgivemenerdy has it all. She is a mom, blogger, nerd, author AND book cover designer! Plus she has the best instagram name I have ever come across and the cutest little girl who graces her feed. Trust me you should really follow this amazing woman!

It's a beautiful day to be reading! Madeline Mae was enjoying a vintage book {aka one of her daddy's baby books} on her gorgeous new @littlewifepowerhouse boppy {cover} pillow! I'm so in love with this! It's my favorite color AND it makes me think of Harry's patronus! 😍 {I can make anything Harry Potter related, let's be honest} This is the first cover I've had since the original one I got before Mads was born 🙈 for shame! There really is no competition between those cheap boppy covers and swaddle blankets and something like this stuff from @littlewifepowerhouse. She even has quilts. And they are so beautiful. I can't even tell you. Check them out. Check out everything immediately! So beautiful! And wonderful quality. {And by the way, Jen, the packaging is fantastic! 😍} •••••••••• #Books #bookish #bookgeek #booknerd #booknerdigans #bookstagram #booklover #bookworm #bookobsessed #bookaddict #youngreader #babybook #babyandbook #nursery #bookstagramfeature #igreads #futurebooknerd #heyheymadelinemae

Andie @_halfbl00dprincess takes the BEST photos, seriously my words cannot do them justice, just got see for yourself

Happy Sock Sunday! I was so excited when my Quidditch Draco Funko arrived this past week that I took the opportunity to show my House Pride 🐍 I'll take any chance I get to show my love for Slytherin. . Slytherin gets a bad rep but what most people don't realize about us is that we're fierce, loyal, and ambitious! Sure we have our fair share of bad eggs but so does every House. The difference is we're not afraid to admit it 😉 Unless you get on our bad side, Slytherins are actually very kind and know how to take care of their own. Plus, some of the best people here on Bookstagram are here to keep us company @ursula_uriarte @abookishloveaffair @writinglaraferrari @bookwormeverlasting @tairyfales. I know I'm forgetting plenty so comment if you're a proud Slytherin! 🐍 . And make sure to check out @meredith.mara's awesome post today for some other fun Slytherin facts 💚 . Which House are you in? 💚❤️💙💛 ———————————————————- 📍Slytherin House Crest ring from @authoredadornments 💕 📍Beautiful custom watercolor bookmark from @behindthe_pages ———————————————————-#HarryPotter #HarryPotterForever #fandom #fangirl #HarryPotterGeneration #Slytherin #Gryffindor #jkrowling #scholastic #bloomsbury #becauseofreading #totalbooknerd #hogwarts #potterhead #instapic #instabooks #bookstagramfeature #bookshimmy #ravenclaw #yalit #yabooks #booksofinstagram #kneesocks #funko #igbooks #socksunday #behindthepagesrep #authoredadornments #bookishfeatures #halfbl00dprincess

Nadine Brandes @nadinebrandes not only takes great photos but she is also the incredible author of A Time To Die

In case you missed the announcement on my blog…I'm writing my next book by typewriter! Crazy notion, I know, BUT THERE'S A GOOD REASON FOR THIS! (Link is Let me introduce you to…Classy Beast. Today, I start #CampNaNoWriMo (yes, four days late due to road tripping) and I'm ready to pound some words out. Why typewriter? Read the blog post. I think it's important to explore the different atmospheres and ways one can write a book. Writing is an art and there's a different experience and knowledge behind each expression of that art. I wrote the #OutofTimeSeries on my computer, this next book will be by typewriter, and next I'll be writing by hand! #amtypewriting

Gina @behindthe_pages, I will start with an apology because after you follow Gina you will need to buy all of her bookmarks. Seriously though, she designs bookmarks after your favourite books like Six Of Crows, Fangirl and Ember In The Ashes. They are all GORGEOUS!

Victoria Schwab @veschwab is the author of A Darker Shade of Magic among other books and I really enjoy that she shares a fun glimpse into her life

Meet my new totem, Lord Byron.
