The Review…

 Rating: ☆☆☆☆
Cover Rating: 4 Thumbs Up! (It’s shiny in person!)
My Thoughts: This book took me by surprise in the best way possible. I had never read anything like it and I wasnt sure I would enjoy it because I don’t know much of anything about coding, hacking or engineering. The good news is you don’t need to! So if any of you have reservations for the same reasons I did then forget them and go get this book!
The story line was fast, there weren’t any slow points for me and I read through it quickly. I also found it to be very engaging, even though the level of tech talked about  is way above me. The author did an excellent job of describing it so I could understand and then it proceeded to sink its hooks in. I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know what happened next! By the end I have to admit the subject matter really pulled me in, I was fascinated by these young geniuses and their innovation. And maybe more than a little jealous.
This is a multiple view-point story which was, in my opinion, done right. Each character had a unique voice and interesting dynamic. I also loved their different cultural backgrounds, it was something unique that I don’t read often. Painted Wolf was my hero, of course. She is so bold and gutsy, but of course I relate more to Rex, except I have trouble with html so forget code. The friendship they shared with Tunde was such a crucial part of the story and it didn’t feel contrived, it felt very real.
I wasnt expecting the ending at all! It was such a cliff hanger, it actually reminded me of the way a film might finished if it was part of a series. Mid-action, lots of questions unanswered, leaving you on the edge of your seat… I’m telling you this is not a book to miss. It’s fresh, fun and action packed with some humor and just the right amounts of romance. This here is the full package and a beautiful cover to top it off!
Recommended For: I would really suggest this for anyone who likes action, or sci-fi, I think it would appeal to a wide range of readers. If you enjoy books like Enders Game or movies such as Die Hard or Oceans Eleven, where there is a problem solving element, then I think you would like this book.
